THE amphitheatre is packed as the National Association of Primary School Heads (NAPH) annual national choral music and traditional dance competitions get underway in Bulawayo, with all 10 provinces represented.
The competitions, which end tomorrow, are being hosted by Matabeleland North province.
The event was initially scheduled for Victoria Falls before organisers agreed to move it to Bulawayo to reduce travel time for participating schools.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education head office are attending the event, alongside a large contingent of school heads from across the country.
The competitions bring together primary schools from all 10 provinces to showcase their talents in choral music and traditional dance, while celebrating Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage.
