‘Watch out for Panashe’

WHILE Wisdom is doing the business amid great expectations, Lloyd Mutasa reckons the real star from his family is not yet in the public eye.

The Hwahwa technical adviser reckons Panashe Mutasa is a class above Wisdom and it’s only a matter of time before the nation gets to appreciate his talents.

The 15-year-old attacking linkman, who is on the books of Aces Youth Academy, has a shaper football brain than Wisdom, Samaita says.

He also reckons that his younger son can become a player of repute “only if he follows the right football channels.”

“As a father it is difficult to really say which one of my sons is technically better, but I must say Panashe’s intelligence, given his age, has convinced me.

“Yes, Wisdom has set the standard, he has raised the bar higher, but Panashe is also up there with him technically.

“I would call him an unpolished diamond, I am sure he will be the one to watch out for in the near future,” said Mutasa.

Mutasa and wife Patience — a former netball player in Mutare — are blessed with three children Munashe (Wisdom), Panashe and a little daughter Paidamoyo, who is still in pre-school.
