The fatal shooting happened on Sunday.

Cde Lot Mbambo, a Central Committee member of the party in Bubi District, said one man was killed by a company security guard, while two others were injured.
“We have managed to speak with the owner of the company, and he has agreed to take care of the funeral, support the children of the deceased, and pay the medical bills for the two who were injured,” Mbambo said.

He said that the security guard involved has been arrested and is in custody at Inyathi Police Station.
“The law is going to take its course. This is a serious matter; he will not go free. We are very saddened by this because such an incident has never happened in Bubi District,” Mbambo added.
