A day after Chauya Chikwata, the leadership on Tuesday assured fans that they will travel to Victoria Falls for their opening Pacific Breeze Southern Region Soccer League fixture at Chinotimba Stadium on Saturday.

On Monday the feuding parties at the club decided to bury the hatchet and work together for a good cause. With one of the factions holding to a franchise they acquired weeks ago and the other having failed to reclaim a slot supposedly banked last year, football and club legacy became the winner when men put aside their egos to revive the club.

Zimpapers Sports Hub caught up with reinstated club chairman Tawanda Ruzive and board chairman Ishmael Kaguru who spoke in unison.

“We are united as a family, one Zimbabwe Saints, Chauya Chikwata, we are working together for the sake of football as Zimbabwe Saints,” said Kaguru.

Ruzive praised Kaguru for his resilience as he has over the years been the club benefactor. He has always been selfless

“He has always been with us as benefactor of the team, he wants players in action, we are very proud,” said Ruzive.

Asked about the weekend match, Ruzive said if the paperwork about their registration goes through they will travel to face Mosi Rovers.

“Definitely we are planning to go to Victoria Falls this coming weekend,” added Ruzive who has been praised for working tirelessly to ensure the club gets back to action by hunting a franchise.
