FORMER Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari has thrown his weight behind Zimbabwe’s national team ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Rwanda on Tuesday afternoon reminding fans and players alike of the team’s fighting spirit.
“Warriors are known for their scars. We don’t give up, we regroup and go again against Rwanda in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. You have my support,” said Mwaruwari in a rousing message shared ahead of the match.

The Group C fixture will kick off at 3 PM CAT at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa a venue the Warriors are familiar with, having used it earlier in the campaign due to the ongoing ban on Zimbabwean stadiums by CAF.
