WeUtonga delivers polished act

 

The dinner was held at the Rainbow Towers Hotel last Friday.

It was her good delivery on the bass guitar that left many of her fans, mostly women, spellbound.

The capacity crowd included wives of ministers. The major highlight of the show was when she dedicated a song, “Amai”, to all the mothers.
“This song is dedicated to all the mothers for showing us love, to their children especially in hospitals where we are facing water problems.
“The water problems are quite disturbing to mothers. Thank you for choosing to be here for a worthy cause,” she said amid ululation from the crowd.

Every song got a warm reception from the crowd. She also invited fans to join her in song and dance.

At one point she left the stage to join fans. Some of the popular tracks she performed include “Stone Child”, “Nhaka” from her current album, “Utonga” and “Chinyarara” and “Khoukotha” an as yet to be released song.
