ARE they the first visually impaired brother and sister to combine forces and release a love song?

Beauty Ngwende and her brother Man T are breaking barriers and all that they need is the support of sponsors to make it big in the musical industry.

Ngwende, a mbira artist, has released a love song dubbed ‘Ruva Rangu,’ following a year-long hiatus from the musical circles.

The single features her brother, Man T, who is also a visually impaired .

In an interview, Beauty said she took a step back from the musical industry due to lack of sponsors and proper management.

She said she is set to release another single next month titled ‘Pamoyo Pangu,’ under Simplex.

“This is my first song this year as I am struggling to find a proper manager as well as sponsors to push my songs.

“I also have challenges with regards to finances which sets me back when I want to record using some top producers.

“During my break I tried to do freestyle videos online but I eventually stopped as my career had really gone down.

“’Ruva Rangu’ is now my third single and as always I’m still singing love songs because that’s my signature as an artist.

“I worked with my brother Man T who has the same condition as me and Nyasha Timbe produced the song for us.

“It is my dream and wish to bring in other visually impaired artists into my work so that the world can see that we are capable of breaking all barriers.”
