“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it,” Jesus says in Revelation 3:8
When God speaks, history moves, doors shift and heaven invades earth.
This serves to show that God is not silent.
He spoke, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14).
A virgin conceived and hope entered a weary world. The same God who spoke in Bethlehem is speaking over your life right now reminding you that you are not forgotten.
Jesus says, “I know your works.”
This is the Shepherd’s assurance to the soul that has wondered, “Does anyone see my tears?Does anyone remember my prayers?”
The answer is yes.
“God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love.” — Hebrews 6:10
He keeps your tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).
What people ignored, God recorded; what others dismissed, God remembered.
You are not invisible to the One whose eyes range across the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully His. If you have worshipped in the dark, served when no one applauded and obeyed when it cost you, take courage — Your labour in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Whisper to your heart, “I am seen by God.”
He has set before you an open door.
According to Isaiah 22:22, He opens and none shall shut; He shuts and none shall open.
The Lord sets doors before His people — doors of salvation in your family, doors of favour in your calling and doors of restoration in your destiny.
Paul testified, “A great and effective door has opened to me.” (1 Corinthians 16:9).
I declare that in this season, God-ordained doors will open suddenly. Delay is breaking and resistance is collapsing. Access is being granted in Jesus’ name.
You don’t have to pry this door open; you have to walk through it. The knob is grace and the hinge is God’s timing. The threshold is obedience.
Lift your faith and say, “My door is open.”
But He also says, “You have a little strength.”
Hear the tenderness in that phrase.
God is not waiting for your strength to increase; He is pouring His power through your surrender.
This is the paradox of the Kingdom — “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).
God came through a manger, not a palace; swaddling clothes, not royal robes.
He chose the path of humility to reveal the triumph of His strength.
So, when you feel small, get ready: God will show Himself.
Your loyalty will be rewarded.
Jesus honours the church that “kept My word and did not deny My name”.
Your obedience will speak for you, faith will announce you and consistency will position you.
Quiet loyalty in the hidden place becomes radiant honour in the open.
Do not surrender your confession; do not relinquish your grip on the Word.
God is faithful, and you will not be put to shame.
The door God opened will remain open. The promise He made will stand; the blessing He released will fill you.
What is sealed by blood cannot be shut by the adversary.
What is authorised by heaven cannot be vetoed by hell.
This is why festive matters for your open door. Kings may resist, systems may oppose, darkness may challenge, but
God always gets the final word.
Herod could not stop Him (Matthew 2:13–15). The manger declares that small beginnings are not weak beginnings, but God’s chosen launching pad.
The cross affirms that outward endings are not final; they are the doorway to resurrection; therefore, lift your head, you are walking under the banner of God (Matthew 1:23).
The God who set the door now summons you through it, He who perfects strength in weakness now empowers you and He who rewards loyalty now makes your obedience speak.
Let’s celebrate festive knowing “when God speaks the word becomes flesh and manifests in our midst”.
