When prophesy is fulfilled

Do you feel like you are on the ash heap of despair and discouragement? Do you feel like you have clutched a straw, which promises much, but delivers nothing?
Several years ago, I found myself in this scenario like you. As I was brooding about life, my eyes were riveted to Jeremiah 15v18: “Why then does my suffering continue? Why is my wound so incurable? Your help seems as uncertain as a seasonal brook, like a spring that has gone dry.” Just like the weeping prophet Jeremiah lamenting in the text above, I have crossed that threshold before. I am talking to you child of God. Buckle up for your season has come. In life there are seasons when it seems Jehovah enjoys delay. There are times when your waters (needed necessities of life) would fail or not come. I want to encourage you like Barnabas no wound is forever and that every man and woman has a wound.
After 400 years even when it seemed nothing could happen to the children of Israel. Did Pharaoh not allow the children of Israel to go with substance? I mean silver and gold. No matter how many years you have prayed and fasted and waited for your testimony do not give up? God establishes destiny, but the choice you make in life decides how quickly you get to your destiny.
In my brooding, the Lord took me to Judges 6v3-6: Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, marauders from Midian, Amalek, and the people of the east would attack Israel, camping in the land and destroying crops as far away as Gaza. They left the Israelites with nothing to eat, taking all the sheep, goats, cattle, and donkeys. 
These enemy hordes, coming with their livestock and tents, were as thick as locusts, they arrived on droves of camels too numerous to count. And they stayed until the land was stripped bare. So Israel was reduced to starvation by the Midianites. Then the Israelites cried out to the Lord for help.
Having read this scripture, I got boldness to think further about the issues of life. A strange feeling welled up my mind and the Spirit of the Lord nudged me to read on Judges 6v7-9, when they cried out to the Lord because of Midian, the Lord sent a prophet to the Israelites. He said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of slavery in Egypt. I rescued you from the Egyptians and from all who oppressed you. I drove out your enemies and gave you their land.”
This text in Judges 6v7-9 was like the pearl of great price, when I read it I wanted to possess it in my spirit. My mind kept on feasting on this Judges 6v7-9 teaching and my spirit man kept on drinking on this wisdom from the Bible. Like John Wesley the English Methodist revivalist of the 18th century who believed in consulting the oracles of God in solving life puzzles. The words in Judges 6v7-9 burned themselves on my spirit man and consciousness.
Then the Lord took me to the words of 1 Timothy 4v14-15. “Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress.”  
Having read the scripture again and again, I realised that the spirit of poverty can fasten on people and work like a tick on a dog until it sucks all the life out of it. People can work all year without anything to show for it. They need the prophetic ministry to give them direction. No wonder why the Apostle Paul was giving counsel to his spiritual son Timothy.
From Genesis 1v28 God prophesied that humanity would have dominion over all the animals, birds of the air and to every creeping creature. For animals to submit to Adam, it was because of prophecy. Regardless of weight, humanity has dominion over an elephant. A shepherd boy of about 12 years can control the entire herd of cattle without fear — reason the prophetic dictates of God. The prophetic can save nations from disaster. Because there was a prophecy about the children of Israel leaving Egypt after 400 years, it happened as God had spoken it. The children of Israel left with silver and gold for the Promised Land. While in Egypt, Joseph gave Pharaoh a prophecy about seven years of plenty and seven years of famine.
The wise counsel from Joseph prepared Egypt to handle seven years of famine. Earlier on I mentioned the story of Gideon in Judges 6v7-9 when God sent a prophet to save the Israelites from the Midianites. God did not send USAID to solve their hunger problems, but he sent a prophet to help them.
What I have realised being a member of United Family International Church (UFIC) a prophetic ministry is that a prophet can give you what no one else can give you. Receiving a prophecy is receiving the ability to make it in life.
As a prophet gives out a prophecy, destinies change immediately. Like a brooding hen, a recipient of a prophecy has to travail in prayer until the prophecy happens. When Jonah finally obeyed God and went on his assignment to Nineveh, he delivered a word of God and the king ordered his subjects to fast and pray. The entire nation averted disaster because of prophecy.
I am speaking to somebody discouraged today. May the prophetic ministry give you a desirable destiny! The reason why most people who have received glorious prophecies do not manifest is that the people do not invest their time in their prophecies. The Apostle Paul encouraged Timothy to give himself completely so that people can see the evidence in his life.
