WHERE is Levels?

That’s the big question in Harare right now as Chillspot records producer, Tafadzwa ‘Levels’ Kadzimwe, has simply disappeared from the radar.

He is reported to have skipped the border after being fingered in a rape case.

Levels was accused of allegedly raping his ex-lover and musician Ashley ‘Shashl’ Moyo.

The star producer had allegedly leaked their sex tape.

Shashl lodged a complaint with the police at Borrowdale Police Station.

Levels went underground, from the time he was reported to the police, and reports claim he is now in South Africa.

An impeccable source told H-Metro that Levels has been trying in vain to invite Shashl to South Africa to negotiate the possible withdrawal of the charges.

“Levels cannot be located or reached on his mobile phone,” said the source.

“He was last seen at Borrowdale Police Station with Shashl for counselling a day before the latter lodged a police report against him.

“It is from that meeting where Levels sensed danger, the consequences of the nude videos, and decided to flee,” said the source.

However, police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, promised to furnish H-Metro with more details surrounding Levels’ case today on why he still hasn’t been nabbed.

The Levels’ rape case arose after his sex tape with Shashl leaked.

It has divided opinion in this country with one group questioning the rape allegations.

The other group has been critical of Levels and say he should be punished.

“There is a misconception that if people are lovers then one cannot rape the other party,” said one of those who are on Shashl’s side.

“They don’t know that you can even be reported for rape by your wife, whom you would have been staying with for even 20 years.

“It’s about her saying no, and you force yourself on her.”

Many of the local celebrities, especially the women, have been singing in Shashl’s corner.
