“WHY DID YOU DUMP ME?” – Psycho stabs ex!

B-Metro Reporter

A BITTER breakup ended in bloodshed when a jilted lover turned into a knife-wielding maniac!
A 38-year-old man from Beitbridge shocked the community after he stormed his ex-girlfriend’s home on 30 May 2025, demanding answers about their split. But when love turned cold, he turned deadly.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) that did not name the man or his victim, the woman refused to open the door, hoping he’d leave. Instead, the enraged ex grabbed stones and shattered four window panes like a psycho-stalker out of a horror movie!

When the woman partially opened the door, the man pounced like a predator! He overpowered her, dragged her outside and plunged an okapi knife into her stomach and thigh.
The brutal attack left her bleeding and in shock, while the assailant was later arrested and dragged before the Beitbridge Magistrates’ Court.

On the charge of malicious damage to property, he got a slap on the wrist, 3 months wholly suspended. But justice hit harder for the stabbing: 5 years behind bars, with 1 year suspended. He’ll serve an effective 4 years in jail.
No means no. A breakup is not a death sentence.
