Why Stanbic was named best banking brand in Zim

STANBIC Bank Zimbabwe’s commitment to innovation, quality, branding and customer experience were key factors which helped the financial institution to be named Best Banking Brand in Zimbabwe by the Global Brands Magazine.

GBM is widely recognised as a leading publication in the field of brands.

Each year, it conducts a series of awards to acknowledge companies which have excelled as industry leaders, demonstrating exceptional service and a unique vision.

This year marks the 12th edition of the awards event.

The awards are meant to celebrate excellence in performance across various industries.

A dedicated external research team was responsible for evaluating the nominees.

“We congratulate Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe on this remarkable achievement and applaud your company’s outstanding contributions to the industry and wish you continued success in the future,” said GBM in a statement.

The awards cover a broad range of sectors, including finance, education, hospitality, lifestyle, automobiles, and technology.

Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe has cemented its reputation as a leading banking brand by winning a variety of awards which include being named the overall best-performing bank at the Banks and Banking Survey Awards 2024 as well as being selected 2024 Bank of the Year by London-based magazine, The Banker .

Last year Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe CEO, Solomon Nyanhongo, was named the overall CEO Of The Year as well as the Banking sector CEO Of The Year awards at the prestigious annual CEO Round Table Awards.

The accolades were in recognition of Nyanhongo’s leadership as well as Stanbic Bank’s excelling in eight categories namely: Business performance; Corporate & Strategy; Digital Journey; Customer Experience; Risk Management; Product Mix; Product Innovation; and Ethical Leadership & Management.

Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe also won the Best Customer Experience Award in the Banking Category from the Customer Experience Association of Zimbabwe for the second time in a row. – H-Metro Reporter/Agency
