A 69-year-old Mutare widow is questioning the will left by her late husband and has described it as a FAKE document.
Dorcas Mabaso claims the signature on the will is different from the signature of her late husband Samson Enock Msabaeka, who was a businessman.
She also argues that Msabaeka was old and ill at the time the will was written and someone could have doctored it in favour of the first wife.
“I feel duped,” said Mabaso.
“The will said to have been written by my late husband sometime in 2022 is fake considering the discrepancies on the signature on other documents.
“Besides the different signature, if he is the one who wrote the will, he was forced to do so while under the weather since he was in and out of hospital.
“He was 88 years-old and his decision could have been influenced by other people.
“I am praying for justice to take its course and those with financial muscle, who are behind the crafting of this will, are benefitting.
“I bore two children with Msabaeka.”
She added: “As a beneficiary, I was not called when the will was read but other children from the first wife were present.
“The lawyer has been turning a deaf ear to my submissions.
“I am failing to get a legal practitioner to help me fight this injustice.”
Mabaso was married to Msabaeka for 45 years.
