Wife stabs husband, flees

Police are searching for a Beitbridge woman, Shorai Dube, after she allegedly stabbed her husband multiple times, causing near-fatal injuries, on Saturday morning. The attack reportedly occurred while the man was asleep.

The motive remains unclear. Beitbridge District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Melusi Ncube, confirmed the incident, stating, “She allegedly stabbed him several times on the throat and abdomen. He is seriously injured and hospitalised. Investigations are ongoing.”
