Will JJ have Munya’s nine lives?

AS the plot thickens in Big Brother Africa Hotshots, with Zimbabwean housemate JJ up for eviction every week, the question now is whether he has Munyaradzi Chidzonga’s luck of a cat with nine lives and keeps on surviving eviction. Last Sunday saw JJ up for eviction for the second consecutive time, but it looks as if he has more fans out there as Africa keeps saving him, while inside the house most of the housemates seem threatened by his presence.

JJ survived this season’s second eviction last Sunday, while Zimbabwe’s second housemate, Butterphly, was safe.
From nine nominated housemates, JJ received five country votes, while Tayo received three and Permithias two. Four housemates received one country vote each and two housemates received no country votes.

Big Brother had to use the tie-breaker rule again this week, to separate the four housemates who received one country vote each.
It was, however, the end of the road for Lillian (Nigeria), Esther (Uganda) and Sabina (Kenya) who were evicted last Sunday evening joining Zambia’s Resa and Mozambique’s Mira who were the first housemates to be evicted from the BBA House.

So far it is five female contestants out of the BBA House and 23 housemates left, with Big Brother unpredictable each week on the number of housemates being evicted.

Team B, otherwise known as the Gold Team, were again declared the winners of last week’s extravaganza task, which once more put members of JJ’s Silver Team (A) open to this week’s nominations for eviction.

On Monday, Big Brother announced this week’s nominations up for the chop board and JJ was on the list again along with six other housemates — Alusa (Kenya), Ellah (Uganda), Laveda (Tanzania), M’am Bea (Ghana), Macky2 (Zambia) and Permithias (Namibia).
Will JJ beat Munya’s all-time record of surviving nine consecutive evictions?

It will all be left up to Africa to vote and only time will tell as BBA Hotshots continues.
On the other hand, one of Zimbabwe’s leading dancehall movements, Judgement Yard, will be on the turntables at this Sunday’s eviction night.
This will also give viewers a teaser of what to expect when Judgement Yard’s DJ Flevah will play in the Hotshots House on October 31.
