parked the R13,7 million mobile home in New York City’s SoHo district, where he is currently shooting the latest installment of the alien franchise, also known as MIB: 3 – even though he rents a luxury apartment less than 1,6km away.
The trailer’s downstairs, which has marble floors throughout, comprises a full service kitchen, lounge, movie room, a large bedroom and bathroom, while the top deck of the massive vehicle holds a bar and offices for Will’s staff.
According to the New York Post, the actor is reportedly paying R62 000 a week for his new hang-out, while a second 55-foot trailer housing his personal gym is parked nearby.
With the luxury vehicle, Will rents a five-bedroom apartment for R171 000 a month in the city.
A real estate broker, who worked with him to find the apartment, said: “Everything about him is excessive”, adding that money was no object for the star, who had an initial budget of R684 000 a month and asked for a pool and private elevator. – Sowetan.
