CHEGUTU Pirates coach, Richard Chunga, says his charges are ready to drown Herentals Under-20 in a ZIFA Northern Region Division One clash at Motor Action Sports Club tomorrow.
Leaders Simba Bhora are not in action this weekend.
Chegutu Pirates were the first team to end Herentals Under-20’s 11-game unbeaten in the reverse fixture.
So far, they are the only team who have beaten Simba Bhora, in their backyard.
No other team has left Wadzanai with a point.
The Young Students are still in the title race, and victory against Chegutu Pirates, will see them narrowing the gap to two points.
Simba Bhora lead the log standings with 63 points.
“We want to urge people from Chegutu to remain united and assist Mr Makumbe (Columbus), who has shown his undying love for this project,” said Chunga.
“We have respect for Herentals for being where they are at the moment.
“The boys are in high spirits and ready to fight.
“We find it easy to plan against big teams because they play exciting football.”
