Williams untouchable in WTA rankings

Paris —There were no changes in the top 10 of the latest WTA rankings released yesterday, with Serena Williams keeping her big lead at the top. The American has played only three tournaments all season, and her advantage could be cut by next week after she withdrew from the Madrid Open because of flu.

Czech Lucie Safarova moved up three places to world number 13 after winning her sixth career title in front of her home crowd in Prague, while Ana Ivanovic and Sara Errani also jump up a couple of spots.
