Talented musicians Winky D and Jah Prayzah will go head-to-head at the Lion Lager Campus Nite Activations gig scheduled for the Midlands State University this weekend. Winky D commands a huge following, but Jah Prayzah is no pushover. The “Tsviriyo” hitmaker, who is backed by the Third Generation band, is one of the most sought-after singers and loved by many.
Winky D a.k.a the Ninja President should watch out because Jah Prayzah is following in hot pursuit, but the Campus Nite gig should teach Winky D a thing or two because Jah Prayzah will stop at nothing to win the hearts of the crowd. Patricia Murambinda, the brand marketing manager for Lion, was excited about the gig and promised music fans a treat this Saturday.

“We are delighted to introduce the Lion Campus Nite Activations and further our shared aim of uplifting music in the country. Music plays a central role in our lives and only the best beer has to support this initiative. Lion Lager has stood the test of time in music sponsorship and will continue to engage in promotional activities to uplift both the brand and music in Zimbabwe,” she said.

She said the activations made a welcome introduction into the market buttressing Lion as a beer behind music and musical festivals.
“Lion Lager has supported its consumers’ passions over the years and will thus significantly assist in the development of musical festivals in Zimbabwe. This activity was carefully selected from a list of potential sponsored activities simply because it stands as a passion for us Zimbabweans and the Lion Lager drinkers as well.

“The activations see Zimbabwe’s most loved beer engage in the market through the most loved passion point — music,” Murambinda said.
The activations will act as a build up to the coveted Lion Summer Festival on October 12. The activities will move around the country in the major towns which include Bulawayo, Masvingo, Mutare, Bindura and Chinhoyi culminating into the big day in October.
