The eviction show is screened live on DStv Channel 198 at 8pm every Sunday.
MultiChoice Zimbabwe public relations manager Liz Dziva said they were excited to see Zimbabwean artistes being promoted on Big Brother StarGame.
“The show reaches across Africa and gives them a wonderful platform on which to showcase their exceptional talent to a wide international audience,” she said.
Winky D has won numerous awards including the Zimbabwe National Arts Merit Awards for Outstanding Album for Igofigo, Zimbabwe Dancehall Award Best Song for Rokesheni and The African Entertainment Awards, Mainstream (Africa and International Acts) — Song of the Year for Controversy, amongst others.
Davies Mugadza will rock the Big Brother house on Saturday 21 July, and will again drop the beats at the live eviction show on Sunday 22 July.
This will be the first time that a Zimbabwean DJ will play for the housemates during Biggie’s traditional Saturday night party.
However other Zimbabwean artistes like Desmond “Stunner” Chideme and Cindy Munyavi have performed at the live eviction shows.
The two performed during last season’s Big Brother Amplified, in which Zimbabwean housemate Wendall Parson won, alongside Nigeria’s Karen Ighbo.
