POLICE have confirmed the arrest of three suspects, including two juveniles, in connection with a theft case in Chikanga, Mutare, where a significant amount of cash was stolen.
Munyararadzi Madzure (39) and two 16-year-old juveniles were taken into custody by the police. The trio allegedly stole US$25 000 from the complainant. Instead of lying low, the suspects used the stolen money to purchase a Honda Fit vehicle and three iPhones.
Thanks to swift police action, the suspects were tracked down, and the stolen goods, including the motor vehicle and mobile phones, were recovered. The ZRP’s prompt and effective response has brought the perpetrators to justice.
