Woman bites husband’s ear, pulls privates, jailed

A 29 year old Victoria Falls woman has been sentenced to six months imprisonment after she violently assaulted her husband, bitting his ear and pulling his private parts.

Blessing Kachenga (29) will however perform 105 hours of community service at Victoria Falls Court after three months imprisonment were suspended for five years on condition of good behaviour and the remaining three months were suspended on condition she performs community service.

Prosecutor Mrs Portia Moyo told the court that Kachenga of Mkhosana, Victoria Falls committed the offence on May 25, 2025.
“The accused person (Kachenga) is the complainant’s wife. On 25 May 2025 at around 2AM and at a house in Mkhosana, Victoria Falls Kachenga and the complainant had a misunderstanding over an undisclosed issue.
“Kachenga proceeded to bite the complainant once on the right ear and then pulled his private parts.

The matter was reported to the police leading to the arrest of Kachenga,” said Mrs Moyo.
