THE 64-year-old Bulawayo woman who collapsed and died at the offices of a city law firm on Monday is a resident of Waterford suburb.
Chronicle visited the woman’s residence yesterday and it was told that there was no one who could give comment on the issue as the family was waiting for the woman’s children who are out of the country.

Police spokesperson for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Inspector Mandlenkosi Moyo confirmed the incident on Monday.
“We are investigating a case of a woman who suddenly collapsed and died at a law firm in the city centre,” said Insp Moyo without giving further details.

Indications are that the woman, whose details could not be readily established, had gone to seek legal assistance regarding her house at the law firm.

When Chronicle visited the law firm situated at the corner of Fife Street and 8th Avenue on Monday, the body of the woman had already been removed.

Police had attended to the scene and those who spoke to Chronicle said she had just entered the offices and was yet to be attended to when she suddenly collapsed.

Workers at the law firm referred all questions to the police and the woman’s family.
