A Sunningdale woman approached the Civil Court seeking a protection order against her young sister and co-tenant citing harassment.

However, Nyaradzai Nyangomba’s bid for a protection order against her sister, Fiona Muyambobe, and her co-tenant, Joyline Ndlovu, was dismissed by magistrate Tamara Chibindi.

Nyaradzai told the court that her sister with the help of her co-tenant were in the habit of insulting and harassing her maids.

“Every time I go out, she insults my maids. The last time she insulted and accused her of stealing her hip enlargement pills. The two of them also insulted me, with Fiona poking me while Joyline was physically assaulting me.”

However, Fiona told the court that they had a misunderstanding when she asked for her money from Nyaradzai.

“I did not insult her, but l lent her US$1 000, and when l asked her to pay back my money, she refused since l had left Joyline to assault her.

“That is when we had a misunderstanding and she told me not to visit her place of residence and vowed not to give me back my money.”
