A MUFAKOSE woman has been harassing her sister-in-law to disclose the whereabouts of her husband.

Florence Tavazira said she has had enough of her sister-in-law Sally Deshe’s nuisance and approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order.

She said Sally has also been assaulting her ever since her husband left her.

Magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted the protection order to Tavazira and warned Deshe against pestering, intimidating or assaulting her sister in-law.

Tavazira said:

“She is my brother’s wife, and she has been pestering me to disclose her husband’s whereabouts of which I don’t know.

“She recently came to my house and assaulted me and damaged my property.

“I went to my friend’s house, but she followed and continued to assault me,” said Tavazira.

In response, Deshe disputed the allegations and told the court that she only wants her sister-in-law to solve her marital issues.

“I am opposed to the application. I went to her house to ask for my husband’s whereabouts only.

“I didn’t assault her, but just pushed her inside the house because she wanted to leave.

“She told me that I am a prostitute. Chandiri kungoda kuti vagadzirise imba yangu satete,” said Deshe.
