A Harare woman recently lost her job after she was caught by her boss being intimate with her boyfriend in a car parked at their workplace during working hours, the Civil Court heard yesterday.

Omega Chengetai claimed her boyfriend Steven Musha was the reason why she got sacked and is supposed to compensate her.

Chengetai had been dragged to court by Musha who was seeking a protection order against her.

“We were caught by my boss being intimate in the car during working hours and I was immediately sacked,” she said.

Chengetai told magistrate Barbra Mateko that Musha was supposed to compensate her for wasting her time and causing her dismissal.

“He wasted my time during the good days of our love affair and if it wasn’t for him I should have been married by another man by now,” she said.

“Even though our relationship is over he must at least assist me to get my job back or find something to do for me because he caused all my predicaments.”

Musha submitted that Chengetai was in the habit of coming to hishouse to verbally abuse him.

“I don’t want her to come near my house, workplace and church because whenever she comes she causes violence, embarrassing me in public,” he said.

Mateko deferred the matter to today for ruling.
