A 40-YEAR-OLD woman from Mhondoro, Mashonaland West Province, has been arrested for pouring boiling cooking oil all over her husband in a fit of rage sparked by accusations of infidelity.
On 27 January 2025, Melody Tambudzai boiled cooking oil and poured it on her husband’s face while he was sleeping.
In a statement on X, the police said, “The victim sustained facial burns and is currently hospitalised in Norton.”
Investigations revealed that the couple had a history of marital problems stemming from accusations of infidelity
