A 35 year old Victoria Falls woman was sentenced to 15 years in jail for aggravated indecent assault of a man.
In a statement on X, the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) said:
“The State proved that some time in January 2023 the accused person coerced her 28 year old neighbour into having sexual relations with her without his consent at her field.
“The accused person also engaged in sexual activities with the complaint some time during the period extending from 1 February 2023 to 9 June 2023 without his consent.”
The matter came to light when the accused confided in his brother on the 10th of June 2023 leading to her arrest.She was handed a 15 year jail term.
