the court that she had had enough from her drunkard husband Givemore Musengi and was seeking a protection order.
She said her husband is a nuisance when drunk.

“I want him to move out of our matrimonial home so that he sorts his problems out,” she said.

In response, Musengi told the court that he is seeking help to stop the drinking problem.
“I went as far as visiting Nigerian prophet TB Joshua to help me quit the bottle. It’s not easy, but I am surely getting there. I only need time because it is a process.

“I don’t want to move away from my family, I promise I will do what it takes to stop abusing alcohol,” he pleaded.

However, magistrate Mr Milton Serima proceeded to grant the protection order in favour of Kabasa.
He ordered Musengi to observe peace towards his wife and children.
