Woman wins protection against bully neighbours

Blessing Rwizi Weekender Correspondent —
HAVING had enough of her violent female neighbours’ bashings and threats, a Mutare woman approached the courts on Monday seeking protection.

Bridget Ngorima dragged Chipo Mutini, Violet Mashava and their colleague, only identified as Blessing to court, accusing them of disturbing her peace and that of her children because of the political party that she supports.

Miss Nyasha Kuture heard the matter and granted the order in favour of Ngorima.

Ngorima told the court that Blessing was in the business of selling second hand clothes, so each time the police raids and seizes her order, the three accuse her of tipping off the police.

“We belong to different political parties and for some time now they have been accusing me of being a sell-out. They come to my house, banging the door, singing and calling me all sorts of names and threatening to deal with me ruthlessly.”
