Women are a special and unique species

AS we celebrate Mother’s Day today, let us all remember that women are special and unique creatures.

They should be celebrated because in each and every one of them is a mother that brings stability to a family and, in turn, the nation.

Genesis 2:21-22 reads: “So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he slept, He took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the area with flesh. And from the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man, He made a woman and brought her to him.”

This is how women came into existence.

They were created differently from man, though we all look the same.

I believe women are made out of special material.

They were created to make life beautiful, cheerful and, above all, peaceful.

They carry so much grace and combine intelligence and beauty.

We have women that have left an indelible mark in the fields of education, business, technology, medicine and wildlife, to mention but a few.

Furthermore, women seem to be more eloquent than men and are not shy to speak their mind.

This arguably makes them great negotiators and principled leaders.

Quite clearly, women have a lot of responsibilities as mothers, wives, daughters and sisters-in-law.

They make sure the family is well-fed, clothed, among many other motherly duties.

Women are known to be flexible and have a unique way of handling different circumstances.

That said, most men should be appreciated for giving women an opportunity to prove themselves.

We thank and respect them for not suppressing this unique and beautiful species called women.

Instead of competing, they have instead chosen to be patient and even teach women how to perform tasks previously considered manly.

To all women out there, we are not done yet, go out and make names, unpack what God put within you to serve the world.

Life should never be about money, serve your purpose to the fullest and consider monetary rewards as bonus.

Aim to inspire and make a difference.
