SOUTH AFRICA-based Zimbabwean entrepreneur Kelelo Princess Dhlamini, who is the founder of Africa One Identity, brought hundreds of women together for an event dubbed ‘Soul Healing Session’.
The all-women event attracted guests from Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana and South Africa.
They came together to commemorate International Women’s Day held on Saturday.
Kelelo has held Africa One Identity in Zimbabwe twice.
The South African event, which was held in Mpumalanga, ran under the theme: “I Heal To Heal Africa”.
In an interview, Kelelo said the event was a journey of self-discovery, unity and collective healing.
“This gathering was open to individuals of all genders as we came together to nurture a sense of oneness and renewal within ourselves and across the African continent.
“Healing is a deeply personal yet collective experience.
“As we face our past traumas and embrace the process of restoration, we open doors to a stronger, more united Africa.
“By starting with women, we acknowledge their pivotal role as nurturers, leaders and pillars of strength in our communities.
“When women heal, families heal, when families heal, societies flourish.
“And, when societies flourish, the entire continent moves toward wholeness, empowerment and progress,” she said.
She added:
“This will help us as Africans to engage in healing practices that promote self-awareness, resilience and inner peace.
“Through meaningful conversations, shared wisdom and guided introspection, we will take intentional steps towards creating a supportive and nurturing environment for ourselves and future generations.
“Building a strong African identity starts with addressing individual wounds.
“A healed and empowered African population is essential for the growth and prosperity of the continent.
“By acknowledging personal and collective traumas, we pave the way for a future built on unity, understanding, and mutual support.
“This is part of a sacred and empowering journey. We need to come together to heal, to strengthen our bond as a people and to work towards a brighter and harmonious Africa.”
