YOUNG entrepreneurs from across the country have gathered in Bulawayo for the Youth in Business Forum, a key platform aimed at advancing youth empowerment and financial inclusion.
The event is being held at the Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Smart City during the ongoing Zimbabwe International Trade Fair and has brought together young businesspeople, policymakers and development stakeholders to discuss strategies for improving economic opportunities for the youth.
Hosted by the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company in partnership with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, the forum is running under the theme: “Youth Financial Inclusion: Closing Gaps in Connected Economies.”
The initiative forms part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to promote youth economic empowerment and broaden access to financial services for young entrepreneurs.
Tino Machakaire is expected to deliver the keynote address, where he is likely to outline Government strategies to strengthen youth participation in the economy and promote inclusive financial systems.
The forum is expected to explore ways of addressing barriers that continue to hinder young people from accessing finance, business development opportunities and essential support systems needed to build sustainable enterprises.
