ZIMBABWE junior motocross racers are an impressive breed of champions who will put the country on the map if their performance at this year’s meetings are anything to go by.
Temba Mazvimbakupa, the Zimbabwe motocross spokesperson, yesterday said he was charmed by the performance of the young daredevils.

“I was really impressed with what I saw, especially from the juniors.

“I saw for myself that we have a winning breed of champions in the making and, definitely, a bright future in terms of racing.

“Daiyaan Manuel gave a great performance in the process winning the 50cc and 65cc races while another star to watch out for Davin Cocker who won the 65ccB and 85cc class.

“Tanya Muzinda, who was the picture of a lone ranger being the only girl in her class, did very well and proved she is no walkover coming third in the 65ccA class behind rival Kuda Mhene (Jnr) and eventual winner Davin Cocker,” said Mazvimbakupa.
