OLD Hararians utility player Jabulani Mudzvova is leaving the club for Cyprus were he will be studying law at Near East University.
Mudzvova started playing for the Old Boys this year and had only taken part in seven games when the National Rugby League lost sponsorship.
The 19-year-old Mudzvova plays as a forward, eighth-man, lock, hooker and prop.
“It is a disappointment that the league had to stop before the end of the second leg, just when I was feeling I was doing well,” said Mudzvova.

“I am going to study in Cyprus. I want to become a lawyer and I got a 50 percent scholarship from Near East University.
“It is sad that there is no rugby in Cyprus, so the sport that I will be doing is swimming.

“But during my holidays, I will be coming back home and will still go back to my club OH and play some rugby there. I will try and train on my own in the gym to stay fit.

“OH has been a good club, but I feel there should be an Under-19 competition in the NRL to give us the young players a chance to showcase our talent.”
Mudzvova started playing rugby at Ruzawi and continued at Hartman House.

He became one of the top players at Eaglesvale.
He represented all the A teams in both rugby and swimming at Eaglesvale.

“I have really enjoyed rugby when I represented my country,” he said.
