Youths castigate Lindiwe Zulu

ahead of the July 31 harmonised elections.
Ms Zulu, last week, claimed that her boss had phoned President Mugabe to express concern over preparations for the harmonised elections, a claim that was refuted by Cde Zuma who issued a strongly worded statement dismissing Ms Zulu’s utterances as unauthorised, regrettable, unfortunate and inaccurate.
The rebuke on Ms Zulu followed President Mugabe’s call on the South African leader to rein in his advisor.

In a joint statement, the Zimbabwe Youth Action Group, Zimbabwe Congress of Students Unions, Zimbabwe National Youth Service Graduates and Upfumi Kuvadiki, yesterday said Ms Zulu was no longer welcome as a member of the Cde Zuma’s backroom facilitation team or to observe the forthcomming elections.
ZYAG secretary general, Tafadzwa Mugwadi said the utterances by Ms Zulu were aimed at pleasing hostile forces.

“We take this opportunity to register our displeasure and anger over her utterances that coincide with those of the MDCs not by accident but by design,” he said.
“To this end we want make it clear that the young people of this country do not welcome Ms Lindiwe Zulu, both as an observer and as a member of the facilitation team to our elections because she has already made wrong, misconceived and totally hogwash conclusions about the elections.”
