Yvonne Tivatye confirmed as substantive Station Manager for Capitalk

Prominent media personality and radio presenter Yvonne Tivatye, has been confirmed and appointed as the substantive Station Manager for Capitalk 100.4 FM, a broadcasting station owned by Zimpapers.

Tivatye began as the Chief Producer at Capitalk FM and was later appointed Acting Station Manager in July 2025, before being elevated to become the official substantive Station Manager.

Her experience and expertise, is expected to drive forward Capitalk FM, as one of the leading broadcasting stations in the country, as she is regarded as a figure in the media industry, praised for her dedication, professionalism, and positive impact on Gospel music programming.

Tivatye became famously known after hosting the multi-award-winning gospel music show, The Gospel Greats, which airs every Sunday on both Star FM and Capitalk 100.4FM.

She was recognised as the Africa Gospel Show Presenter of this year’s CLIMA Africa awards which were held in Johannesburg, South Africa in September.

Beyond radio, Tivatye is a Master of Ceremonies (MC), a counsellor, a mother, and a brand ambassador.
She also hosts discussions on social dynamics, such as sibling rivalry and blended families, on her social media platforms and the Sister’s Keeper ZW podcast.
