Zanu-PF nullifies Insiza North primary election outcome

THE ruling party, Zanu PF has nullified the recent Insiza North primary election results saying the exercise failed “to meet the minimum accepted standards”.

Provincial chairperson, Cde Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu, confirmed the development.

Zanu PF Matabeleland South Youth League chairman, Cde Moses Langa, had emerged winner of the primary election, which was held on Saturday May 3, 2025.

Cde Ndlovu said the primary election “did not meet the minimum accepted standards for holding the elections”.

Cde Langa had polled 2,478 votes followed by Cde Delani Moyo who got 1,564 votes.

Dr Qhubani Moyo garnered 983, Davison Moyo 271, Sifiso Mpofu 157, Nkosana Mthunzi 97, and Ernest Ncube 16.
