Zanu-PF officials, led by chairperson Muchinguri-Kashiri, participate in tree planting ceremony

Famona, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe — Zanu PF national chairperson Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri and Secretary General Dr Obert Mpofu, along with other senior party officials, will engage in a tree planting ceremony today as part of the party’s initiative to promote environmental conservation.

During the event, officials are encouraged to name the trees they plant, fostering a personal connection to the initiative and reinforcing the importance of environmental stewardship.

This practice aims to enhance community engagement and awareness around the significance of preserving Zimbabwe’s natural resources.

The tree planting event aligns with the Government’s broader efforts to combat deforestation and address climate change, reflecting a commitment to restoring the country’s ecological balance.
