ZANU PF scooped the best display award by a Small to Medium Enterprises Company for export and import substitution at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show yesterday.

The revolutionary party has reaffirmed its position as a pacesetter at this year’s Agricultural Show, showcasing a modern exhibition stand that underscores the party’s commitment to advancing agriculture under the leadership of President Mnangagwa.

Speaking soon after receiving the award, Zanu PF spokesperson Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa said the party has transformed in the face of modernity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

“All this is because of the forward-thinking acumen of President Mnangagwa, who has turned around our economy with unbelievable speed and dexterity,” he said.

“Our stand represents all these new qualities of excellence that now pervade our party.

“The secret behind our success is an open secret: it is President Mnangagwa’s leadership qualities.

“Our success at this year’s showcase is again a microcosm of the greater success that is our beloved party under the tutelage of President Mnangagwa.

“Zanu PF has transformed into the face of modernity, the face of innovation, the face of entrepreneurship and indeed the face of the future.”

Cde Mutsvangwa said the ruling party is delivering on its election promises with exceptional precision under the leadership of President Mnangagwa and that the future looks bright.

“We feel vindicated that the trust of the people in our President and leader at the last plebiscite is bearing better fruit than expected,” he said.

Zanu PF has also registered new members at the show, with more than 5 000 new members joining the party since the start of the event on Monday this week.

“We are pleasantly surprised and elated to note that we shall most probably surpass the 5 000 registered at the ZITF (Zimbabwe International Trade Fair) earlier this year. This is an endorsement of the Party and the President.

“We were exhibiting from our different Party Departments. As a party, we showcased current innovations in agriculture that have come in with the advent of the Second Republic and how these trends have made us grain self-sufficient and near-future exporters of the same.

“So we exhibited and communicated that which is delivered, how it is delivered and the gloss that shall be tomorrow and Vision 2030,” said Cde Mutsvangwa.
