THERE is no slowing down the mighty colossal Zanu-PF. It is an unstoppable train. The reality is one just cannot afford to ignore the influence that the Party has. It is dawning on everyone, especially our enemies that Zanu-PF is a reality that they have to contend with for the foreseeable future.
Since its inception, Zanu-PF has broken barriers at every turn and has set the bar quite high that it is difficult for any other political party to achieve what Zanu-PF has been able to attain. It cannot be denied that Zanu-PF is perhaps the most progressive movement that we have seen in recent history. Not only has our movement been growing, but it has been gaining traction at an exponential rate.
Time is of the essence in our quest to achieve total emancipation of our people which will be attained when all our people have the means of production firmly in their hands. This is what we have been fighting for since the very beginning. The most effective way of reversing the impact of colonialism is through total economic emancipation for all our people.
His Excellency President Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa is intentional in his approach of deliberately uplifting all our people. I can, however, say that when we started off on our quest, not many believed in us. There were doubts that Zanu-PF’s efforts would ever amount to anything. We proved everyone wrong as we managed to full turn around our economy.
Initially, we strived to go where no independent revolutionary Government or Party had ever dared to venture. The land question seemed untouchable from the viewpoint of the colonisers. Their goal was to keep us separated from our land for all eternity. It is that daring approach of taking back the land which resulted in Zanu-PF being very unpopular amongst all those who had sought to keep us under subjugation. All the same we sought to ensure that our people would never be left behind.
Safe to say that, Zanu-PF set the tone for positive change and the empowerment of the black majority. We have the blueprints as to how the people can take back their wealth and escape from the jaws of poverty. Poverty is the worst affliction that can affect a people and we have sought to rid our people of poverty. So impressive has been our efforts that our fellow kith and kin from across the region have begun emulating the work that Zanu-PF has been doing.
They have been impressed so much that they have been reaching out and making regular contact with Zanu-PF to learn how we have been conducting our business and how we have managed to steer Zimbabwe towards prosperity amidst difficulties and constant attacks from our detractors. There is an awakening of all our peoples within the region that we are all that we have in the quest towards total emancipation.
Zimbabwe has indeed become a rags to riches story under the guidance of His Excellency President Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa. We have regained much of what was lost through the engagement and re-engagement initiative. The Zanu-PF Headquarters in Harare has become the home of all things promising with so many people seeking to be associated with the ruling Party.
Zimbabwe still holds firm and strong. We are unshakeable and shall remain so for the longest of times to come. We have turned dirt into gold. At no time in Zimbabwe’s history have we had so many prosperous, enterprising and industrious young people than now. This is all courtesy of the progressive Zanu-PF policies. We should remember that everything worthwhile doesn’t come easy and in Zimbabwe’s case we have done the most we can under very difficult conditions.
There can be no doubt that Zanu-PF is still very relevant today as it was when we freed this country. This is why many continue to flock to Zanu-PF and we keep on growing the Party with new members each day. This is all owed to the respect as well as the faith that our people have in the colossal mass party.
Make no mistake about it, Zanu-PF harbours the commitment and political will to ensure that our people have access to all things that improve their daily lives. There is no alternative to this. All Zanu-PF efforts are channelled towards policies that will make significant and practical change and differences in the daily lives of Zimbabweans.
