ZANU PF is committed to implementing all resolutions from its Annual National People’s Conference, the party’s national political commissar, Cde Munyaradzi Machacha, has said.

In an interview with Zimpapers Politics Hub, Cde Machacha said: “It is essential that we stay committed to the resolutions passed at the last National People’s Conference in Mutare. We must ensure that our structures exercise their supremacy over the Government, supervising the implementation of our initiatives to deliver quality lifestyles to our people. To our party members, I urge you to remain united and focused on implementing our programmes as directed by President Mnangagwa.”

He emphasised the need for a unified purpose among members to ensure cohesion within the party’s ranks and file.

“Let us work together, so that the benefits of supporting our cause are clear to everyone,” he said.

Turning to the resolutions passed at last year’s Annual People’s Conference in Mutare, Cde Machacha expressed confidence that by the time the next conference is held, most of the resolutions will have been implemented.

“We have the capacity, and already the resolutions have been passed through various Government ministries and departments. We are working to make sure that as we go to the next National People’s Conference, we can proudly report progress on each of those resolutions,” he noted.

On the party restructuring exercise, he revealed that they have completed setting up cells and village structures and are now concentrating on data capturing.

“We successfully completed our cell restructuring programme and we are now moving on to data capturing and digitisation of records. Our party structures were effective, and we maintained a strong presence across all the provinces.

“The revolutionary party is poised for continued growth; we had a good year in that all our structures were functioning very well,” he expressed.

Looking to the future, he expressed optimism that with adequate rainfall, the economy would continue to flourish, ultimately enhancing the welfare and livelihoods of Zimbabweans.
