Zanu PF wins prize at show

ZANU PF has won the Climate Smart Projects award at this year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show in Harare.

The ruling party won the award in recognition of its progressive policies that have seen the Second Republic under the able leadership of President Mnangagwa undertaking transformative infrastructure development to aid economic stability, growth and investment across Zimbabwe.

Zanu PF Secretary for Business Development Cde Elifasi Mashaba received the award on behalf of the party.

Cde Mashaba said the award was expected because of the drive and inspiration the party gets from President Mnangagwa.

He said President Mnangagwa was on record saying special attention had to be on economic transformation as the Government accelerated the implementation of innovative projects towards the realisation of Vision 2030.

“President Mnangagwa is on a massive drive in terms of developing the country in all sectors of the economy and his mantra of leaving no one and no place behind, has geared us to be where we are. Indeed, it clearly shows that it was a well-deserved award because we put in a lot of effort,” said Cde Mashaba.

He said the Zanu PF Government was moving towards achieving Vision 2030.

“The party deploys Government. Whatever you see happening in Government is what the party and the Politburo decide and push in terms of policy. In that manner we are right on track to ensure Vision 2030 becomes a reality,” he said.

There was a drive for infrastructure development right across the country so that no one and no place would be left behind. On the agriculture front, Zimbabwe has now managed to be wheat self-sufficient and this momentum needs to be maintained.

Party affiliate organisation, BoysDzaMudhara, were also exhibiting at the Zanu PF stand, showcasing their products.

BoysDzaMudhara national spokesperson Mr Collin Machingura said they were showcasing products made by young entrepreneurs in support of Vision 2030.

“Our mission is to support young visionaries who propose creativity, innovative ideas and feasible community-driven projects aimed at creating a more inclusive and empowered generation of young professionals to support the national vision,” said Mr Machingura.

BoysDzaMudhara is a group of young entrepreneurs and like-minded individuals dedicated to defending, promoting and advancing President Mnangagwa’s vision.

They were exhibiting products such as mining equipment, computers, agricultural equipment and work suits.
