A four-member Zanu PF Youth League delegation left the country to attend the 5th edition of the Imbonerakure day in Burundi.
The Youth League is in Burundi at the invitation of the National Council for the Defence of Democracy-Forces for the Defence of Democracy (CNDD-FDD).
The Imbonerakure refers to the Burundi ruling party, CNDD-FDD party youth league.
The acting deputy secretary for Youth Affairs Cde Tendai Chirau is leading the delegation.
He is accompanied by the league’s secretary for Finance Cde Getrude Mutandi, secretary for External Affairs Cde Sibongile Sibanda and director for Youth Affairs Cde Blessed Ziome.
Cde Chirau said they are in Burundi to attend the youth league conference for ruling parties in Africa hosted by the CNDD-FDD party youth league.
“It’s a meeting of young people of the ruling parties in Africa. We hope that this invitation by the Imbonerakure Youth league is going to ensure that we continuously network and share ideas. We want to share ideas that transform the lives of young people economically,” said Cde Chirau.
