Provincial youth chairman Cde Jim Kunaka said campaigns in all party districts and cells were on the cards.
“We are putting together a programme to go around all districts around Harare educating youngsters that violence does not increase votes. Whoever promotes violence, we will use the party constitution to deal with them. It is time we walk the talk,” he said.
He said the league wanted to ensure a peaceful campaign period and prove to the world that peace exists in Zimbabwe.
“Our party is clear on the issue of violence. President Mugabe has said no to violence. It is now our duty to cascade the word of non-violence to the cell level,” he said.
Cde Kunaka said his party was founded on the principles of peace, unity and development and as such it was the mandate of cadres to promote the core values.
He said unlike other political parties, Zanu-PF had a lot of positive issues to tell the electorate.
“We want to expend our energy on educating and reminding the people of our party’s achievements in the last 33 years,” he said.
He said Zanu-PF as a tried and tested party would not resort to violence as it wanted to cap its win in the forthcoming harmonised elections in a peaceful environment.
“We want to win without any question marks. Our fear is that the MDC-T will be provoking incidents of violence to make it appear as if it is us,” he said.
He said the party was also encouraging its multitude of youths to register as voters.
