ZAOGA FIF celebrated its 65th anniversary today, marking a remarkable journey from humble beginnings when a small group of believers gathered under the shade of a gumtree in Bindura on May 12, 1960.
The pentecostal church has, over the years, transformed to become one of the fastest-growing and most influential Christian movements in Africa.
Zaoga FIF is now a global movement with a presence in over 170 nations, a testament to the power of faith and the dedication of its members.
It all began with a divine call that Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti received as a young man in a rural village, which had a powerful conversion experience that changed the course of his life.
He developed a burning passion to spread the gospel and share the message of salvation with others.
With unwavering determination, he began to preach, and the message resonated with people from all walks of life.

In an interview today in Kuwadzana 5, a church member Mrs Fortunate Chigiji said ZAOGA was a testament to the power of faith and the dedication of its members.
“Zaoga FIF’s is characterised by miracles, healings and deliverance and we believe in the power of prayer and the anointing of the holy spirit,” she said.
Through faith and prayer, many people have experienced miracles, healings, and deliverance, and the church’s ministry has been a source of hope and inspiration to millions.”
“God’s faithfulness has taken us to the nations, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share the gospel with people from all walks of life and we are humbled by God’s favor and blessing on our ministry.
“Zaoga FIF’s legacy is built on faith, evangelism, and service. The church’s members are known for their commitment to spreading the gospel, caring for the poor and vulnerable, and promoting social justice. Through its various programs and initiatives, the church has made a positive impact on communities around the world.
“We will continue to serve God and share the gospel with people around the world and also we are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead.”
