THE 2018 Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) national edition of the Executive Interaction Initiative (EII) kicked off with a fun shoot in Hwange yesterday.

Today there will be a golf tournament during which ZDF Commander General Philip Valerio Sibanda will tee off.

“As we have done in the past, there will be interaction through playing golf and funshoot,” said Gen Sibanda who is the event’s patron.

This year is the 16th edition and the theme is: “Transforming attitudes as the country opens for business.”

While the funshoot was done in Hwange, golf will take place at Elephant Hills Resort Golf Course while a dinner dance was supposed to be held last night at the hotel to welcome guests.

“The theme focuses on how we can make sure that the environment is conducive for business. Presentations will be done to ensure more business interaction with the defence forces as well as within the corporate world”.

Gen Sibanda thanked the corporate world for supporting the event.

Over the years, shooting enthusiasts have had an opportunity to engage in the sport at various stations countrywide where various family fun-filled activities such as jumping castle, music, braai and a full bar are provided. — @ncubeleon
