Zemura’s team keeps first clean sheet in 12 matches

H-Metro Reporter

ZIMBABWE international, Jordan Zemura’s Bournemouth, finally ended their lengthy winless streak with a 1-0 win over Wolves over the weekend.

Marcus Tavernier scored the decisive goal just minutes into the second half to end a run of nine matches without a win.

Zemura produced a fine performance in his left wingback role, helping the Cherries keep their first clean sheet since November 12.

The weekend’s victory moved them just a point above the drop-zone.

Prior to this weekend’s win, they had salvaged a 1-1 draw against top four chasers Newcastle United.

Zemura’s next assignment is to try and contain Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez in their next match.

This fixture will also have a huge say in City’s quest to keep pace with Arsenal in the title fight.
