ZGA announces Windhoek-bound golf team

THE Zimbabwe Golf Association have announced the team for the Windhoek Lager Africa Jacket Golf Championship in Windhoek in two weeks’ time.
Boniface Chigorimbo, the ZGA vice-president, said the players who will play in Windhoek are Gerald Shwabane for Division A, Kennan Breda for the B Division and Brighton Nekatambe in the C Division.
The trio were the overall winners in their divisions from the tournaments that were played nationwide since November 2013.

The tournament in Windhoek begins on June 11 with a practice round while the actual tourney gets underway from June 12 to 14.
The nationwide qualifying tournaments included the Hwange Open (for C Division only), the Leopard Rock Open, Dougmore, MAWEGU and the Roland Park Open.
The regional tournament was launched on November 19 at Royal Harare.
