Zhakata thrills Limpopo fans

RENOWNED lyricist, Leonard Zhakata, gave an outstanding performance at the ninth edition of the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival in Thohoyandou, South Africa, on Saturday.

Zhakata won over fans with his flawless stage presence and classic song, Mugove, while dressed in a black leather jacket and designer pants. 

He performed alongside a selection of South African artists at the SABC organised event, which attracted approximately 15 000 music lovers. 

The goal of the festival was to provide a sense of cooperation within the Limpopo province and neighbouring countries, promote tourism and celebrate cultural diversity.

He kept fans on their toes with his flawless stage antics and scintillating chants which gelled with the perfectly rehearsed dance routines by his dancers.

The festival line-up also included Colbert Mukwevho, Cyria the Community, Mark Ngwazi (Zimbabwe), Mr Bow (Mozambique), Young Stunna, Musa Keys, Boohle, Murumba Pitch, Nadia Nakai, Pleasure Tsa Manyalo, Makhadzi, Busta 929, Mac G, Lulo Cafe, Miss P, Sol, Rud Kid Venda, DJ Nipro and Dr Gee.
